A leaked document from a well-known Twitter account revealed that Gamestop the popular gaming retail store will begin allowing a full in-store credit refund on games that you buy within 48 hours of purchase.
Gamestop is well known as the store that will sell you a 60 dollar game and take it back the next minute for less than half the original price in trade-in credit. With the leaked document from twitter, Gamestop is planning on announcing it’s “Guaranteed to love it” program which will allow a full $60 in store credit to be returned to the customer if they bring the game they purchased back within 48 hours of buying it.
They plan to use Days Gone the popular PlayStation 4 exclusive set to release April 26th as their testing grounds to see how this program works out. With the details given, you will only be able to receive full refunds on $60 standard editions of new games.
I think this is a great move for Gamestop, but I am not sure this helps them much with all the other problems they face these days. What do you guys think, if Gamestop goes through with this is this a good move? Let us know in the comments below.
