In recent weeks plenty of rumors and opinions have been shared about what may be included in the upcoming game from 343 industries. One of the largest of rumors has been a possible shut down. In a quick forum post by Frank O’Connor of 343 industries, he said that Halo Infinite will not have a Battle Royale mode built into the game. This post is coming off the tail end of weeks if not months of speculation that the game was taking so long to develop because of the fact that 343 were building a BR mode.

If you are a fan of the first person team based action that Halo has provided over the years this is great news for you. If you are a fan of BR modes and were hoping to get one in a Halo game don’t let this announcement get you down as Halo has Forge mode and O’Connor even mentioned that it’s possible to build a BR mode in forge mode already. So that means that a fan made BR map and mode could potentially take off in the future for Halo Infinite.

I am excited to see what Halo Infinite is all about as it has been a long time since a great Halo game has been released. I am hopeful that it will be a great game for the OG players as well as newcomers to the franchise. Check out the announcement trailer for Halo Infinite here: and expect to see plenty of new information on Halo Infinite at E3 2019 which is from June 11th to June 13th.
